Reminder: how to fix stack-heap collision failures
Neo-Realms | January 29, 2008, 11:42 pm | [43]
Just a reminder: here's a repost in case your rod experiences a stack-heap collision problem: Occasionally during a high traffic tournament or other server stressing event, you may experience a Stack Heap Collision failure that may make your rod stop working. If your rod is modify, you can get your rod working again by:
  1. Clicking on your rod and click edit
  2. Go to the contents tab
  3. Double click on the "x_fishing 4.0" script, where x is your rod type
  4. Click on the reset button
This should remedy the problem. If you have a no-mod rod, please contact Sweegy Manilow to fix the problem for you. We apologize if you do receive this rare error and are working to solve this issue.

New Mega Fish Update is Here!
Neo-Realms | August 19, 2007, 3:12 am | [38]
The new update to fishing is here! It's jam packed with a ton of new fish and new activities! Here's a list of all the new features:

79 new fish added!
79 new fish across all of the categories, including the new Super Epic class!

New ultra rare SUPER EPIC!
Keep a sharp lookout for the KRAKEN, he is the rarest fish of them all!

New fish class: the SUPER EPICS!
The fifth fish class is here, the super epics! You can catch the super elusive whale people and have a shot at the humongous KRAKEN, the rarest fish of them all! The Kraken towers several stories high and comes with a variety of goodies. The only way to catch Super Epics is with the new Super Bait! Super Bait can only be found by crafting the remains of Dead Gyrados.

New ultra rare large fish!
Much like the ultra rare RED GYRADOS for epics, his much shunned cousin has emerged in the large class! Try to catch the equally elusive GREEN DOPEADOS, and be sure to collect the prizes inside!

NEW ACTIVITY: TAG THE GROUCHY!
The Grouchy McTagurIT fish has been causing a ruckus in the waters around Neo-Realms. Unfortunately he is quite elusive, and likes to escape back into the water! If you are the last person to tag him before the contest timer runs out, you will win the grouchy prize! Grouchy is available for catch in all fish classes, and Epic bait increases the chance to catch.

NEW ACTIVITY: Catch the Golden-Ticket-Fish!
If you catch the Golden-Ticket-Fish, you'll automatically be entered into a prize drawing held weekly for bait and other prizes! The Golden-Ticket-Fish is available in the Large, Epic and Super Epic size classes.

Watch out for the Faded Fish!
This fish has eaten way too many faded charms, and has become faded himself! Beware when you catch this fish, he could either be caught for negative points, or provide the largest amount possible!

New: Lucky Charms!
This special charm will give you a random amount of xp when used!

Crafting for Super Bait!
Be on the lookout for Dead Gyrados, and rez his remains to attempt to craft some Super Bait! Dead Gyrados can be found in the epic and super epic classes.

Old Boris is Back!
Once retired from fishing, the Boris the Bait Dodger of 1.0 and 2.0 is back as Old Boris! Be sure to rez him to collect the treats inside!

Thanks for participating in the Fish-A-Thon!
Neo-Realms | July 30, 2007, 2:43 am | [37]
Thanks to all who participated, 19,960 fish were caught in 1.5 days, so that's $19,960 going to cancer research! :)
